Even Insanity Needs A Vacation

“Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.” Albert Einstein

Staying in one place for too long is like having cabin fever. You begin the downward spiral by reasoning with yourself before ending in a bloody mess and you come to the realisation that you’ve eaten all of your fingers and part of one hand.

I’m being dramatic.

These are photos and exerts taken from my journal of my recent trip to the south of Western Australia.

“The south of Western Australia is beautiful. Unsealed roads lead you to the most amazing places in a desolate wilderness and it is awesome.”

“Looking out over the ocean into the horizon, until the world rounds itself into the distance, space is infinite. I feel as though I could stick a flag into the sand and call it my own.”

“Mount Frankland. It’s a 455 meter hike to the summit and it is well worth the view. My only regret is that I didn’t bring a sandwich because I would have liked to have spent a bit more time up here.”
